Matthew Sullivan

General Manager

Matt Sullivan has been with Arctic Air Conditioning since August 26, 2020, starting as Financial Controller before advancing to Vice President of Operations. Now serving as General Manager, he oversees daily operations, drives strategic growth, and ensures exceptional service for customers. Matt’s leadership combines financial expertise with a strong focus on operational excellence and team development.

Anthony Guaragno

Director of Operations

Anthony joined Arctic Air Conditioning in April 2023 and has played a key role in driving the company’s growth and operational excellence. He began as Financial Controller, where he streamlined financial processes and supported strategic decision-making. In July 2025, Anthony was promoted to Vice President of Operations, a position in which he oversees day-to-day operations across multiple departments, enhances organizational efficiency, and helps shape the long-term direction of the company.

Sal Tagliarino

Plumbing and Electrical Manager

Sal has served as the Plumbing and Electrical Operations Manager at Arctic Air Conditioning since October 19, 2020. In this role, he oversees both service departments, driving operational efficiency and team performance while ensuring exceptional customer service. He has been instrumental in strengthening the plumbing division and successfully building out the electrical service department. With over 30 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, and mechanical trades including service management, field leadership, and technician training, Sal brings deep technical expertise and proven leadership to every aspect of the company’s operations.

Daniel Mawby

Install Manager

Dan started his HVAC career in 2005 with Arctic Air Conditioning. After two years in installation, he advanced to lead mechanic and transitioned into service, where he spent 13 years specializing in residential and commercial systems. In 2020, Dan became Installation Manager, overseeing system design, quality control, and installation standards. With nearly 20 years of experience across installation, service, and management, he delivers practical, reliable HVAC solutions focused on efficiency and long-term performance.

James Ramos

Warehouse Manager

James joined Arctic Air Conditioning in December 2023 and plays a key role in overseeing procurement and logistical planning, ensuring some of the fastest turnaround times in the industry. With a strong background in warehousing and safety, James is recognized for driving team development and operational efficiency, contributing significantly to the company’s growth and safety goals. Before joining Arctic Air Conditioning, he served as Operations Manager at Tropicana Products Inc. in the Metro New York area, where he focused on food safety and implemented new systems to improve multi-warehouse efficiency.

Arturo Serrano

Service Manager

Arturo is a seasoned leader with over 21 years of management experience spanning customer service, retail, logistics, and home services. Since joining Arctic Air in 2022 as Service Manager, he has focused on driving operational excellence and ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction. Outside of work, Arturo enjoys traveling with his wife, Octavia, and their daughter, Chloe.

Russell Anthony

Sales Manager

Russ has served as Sales Manager at Arctic Air Conditioning since February 2021. He leads the sales team, oversees training, and ensures comfort advisors deliver an exceptional customer experience. With HVAC experience dating back to 2008 and prior leadership roles in the automotive industry, Russ brings strong coaching skills and a commitment to building a culture of success. He lives locally with his wife and four children.

Dan Karbowski

Home Depot Program Manager

Dan has been part of Arctic Air Conditioning since February 2022, contributing his expertise across parts, fleet, and maintenance management. His strong leadership foundation comes from years as a retail manager, where he mastered the art of prioritizing people and delivering exceptional customer care. Dan firmly believes that when you take care of your team and customers, everything else falls into place.

Herbert Himsel

Technical Training Manager

Herb brings 40 years of dedicated experience to the HVAC industry and has been a foundational figure of Arctic Air Conditioning for over 29 years. He began as an installer in new construction before transitioning to service, where he quickly stood out for his expertise. Herb spent more than 15 years as Service Manager, mentoring countless technicians, troubleshooting complex jobsite challenges, and personally resolving homeowner concerns. Herb’s passion for education led him to his current role as Training and Technical Manager. Over the past six years, he has developed Arctic Air University, the company’s mandatory training program for all new hires. In this role, he takes pride in educating the next generation of technicians. His commitment to knowledge-sharing extends beyond the classroom through an educational YouTube video series designed for both technicians and homeowners.
